You Saul - Is That a Red Line?

I thought he was going to go in a darker direction. The guy i've spent the last several episodes with seems like a pretty dark guy. He said some very lovely things that just didn't quite ring believable for me in the court room. I think if i'm to make the case for why it is believable, it would be that, like, kim confessing to the to the con, is like a red line for it's like a wake-up call and triggers him into introspection.
