Footsal scalp stem is commonly performed in labor and delivery as a way to assess fetal status. A retrospective cohort study found that the effectiveness of scalp stimulation testing was actually poor for both ruling in and ruling out hypacia during labor. In other words, even though its presence of an a cell that's elicited is reassuring, with just under ten % having a background of acidosis.
