Capitalism Is a System Wide Failure to Invest in Social Production

Capital doesn't want to pay its workers enough to allow them to pay a decent wage for personal housework, or child care. So overtime, what can happen is that there is a system wide failure to invest in social production. It also means not paying the full replacement cost of the work of social reproduction. We know that housework has overwhelmingly been unpaid and underpaid.
