Is There a Capitalist Democracy?
I think the Italian one emerges in the way that it does more because of its historical context, where it's still close to the Cold War. And I am slightly skeptical of the notion of the working class as really the main driver of a formal democracy. They vary in state, what we can call bourgeois democracy. But they all have some kind of social and political system in which claims are allowed to be made on the social surplus, but with that, with not much disruption.
