The Right to Sustainance and Remuneration When You Lose the Clerical State

If the church judges for neutral or negative reasons why you can no longer function as a cleric and the church will reduce you to the lay state, that's what happens. You lose all of those faculties when you when you lose the clerical state, but you are nevertheless still a priest. But ontologically, sacramentally, in terms of the in terms of your character in the eyes of God, you are indeed a priest, even though you're not a priest in the position to exercise sacred ministry.
