The Problem With Unemployment Insurance
The technology is just a symptom of these underlying problems of like how the government works, he says. The full system is so complex that you can't really even learn it in 17 years,. This program is supposed to scale up and scale down, right? Scales up when we have more unemployed people, scales down in times of low unemployment. It's our fault. And I think that starts to get at how we can unmake it. We just need to be a lot less complex.
