In the 1960s there's this intense demand for very small light fast electronics which are exactly what the valley is specializing in. The semiconductor industry went from building these bespoke two thousand dollar and upward integrated circuits that nobody had a could afford on the you know no enterprise could afford or really thought they needed. Inflation reduction act moving the battery supply chain away from China moving it to the u.s. This idea that there's some sort of like global competition about energy tech and energy security for obvious reasons. It's both smart politics and it is real geopolitics right?
