Fire Temples

In a fire temple, the fire is maintained by priests in the sanctum sanctorum. Worshippers say their own prayer in conformity with prayers which have been taught to them since childhood. There is no congregational worship in that sense. You do your own thing and pray to whichever aspect of the divinity you wish for. The highest grade has permanently burning fires, constantly maintained by priests. So even the priests themselves whire masks, are ther yes.
