How Spotify's Backstage Process Works
Backstage was created to help Spotify understand who owns every bit of software, right? Because that wasn't super clear and you're not really going to be able to tell that just from like, you know, Git blames all over the place. It reached a certain point where everybody just wanted to build stuff on backstage, they wanted to add their products there. And then it kind of became like, all right, we actually need a team to focus around this.
