Is There a Fork in Bitcoin?

A new generation of Bitcoin adopters has started to have some of the same concerns as the people before them. There needs to be a fork in place to change what is considered a valid transaction, not just a mempool filter. It's just, you know, people who are concerned that their nodes are storing stuff that they don't like and haven't already for years.
