Is There a Better Way Forward for Poorer Countries?
I think that there is a better way forward for poorer countries. Several countries in subsaharn africa are majority renewables already. I think what is very counterproductive is to cut off all kinds of other types of energy now and insist that these countries be 100 % renewable. That is effectively what a fossil fuel financing band will do. For poor countries, because they do need no either. Countries need international guaranteurs. They need international financing. And cutting off that financing immediately,. i's a terrible idea. Ino would like to point out that several countries in Sub-Saharan Africa are majority renewables Already. You know, kenny are probably leading the pack with a 80 to 90% renewable
