What Is Covert Attention?

We have two kinds of attention: overt and covert. Overt attention is basically where you're looking, or if you don't have eyes, it's where you point your ears at. Covert attention is the ability to not focus our eyes, but focus our mind on something. For example, you may be looking straight at someone, but your attention is on something completely different.
