The Importance of Time in Stroke Screening
The JR Kalk advises ambulance clinicians in the UK to use the fast test. The face-arms speech test is partly an agreement, but Nice says that you should use a validated tool such as the fast test for stroke screening. A colleague of mine who has his PhD in identifying stroke mimics would have been ideal to get on the podcast. He's a pretty handy guy to know.
