The fact that people might die of being locked in their homes is just an acceptable cost for the sake of the greater society or the party's longevity and power. So on Hong Kong just for context, China took this opportunity to really crush the people of Hong Kong. And then just as a snapshot about what's happening with Uighurs, their credible claims that there are thousands and thousands of them are being interned in so-called education camps. Maybe take one of those at a time and just help us understand why is this a priority for the regime? What do they see as the goal?
