Is It a Relationship to Charley Sheen?
Sam apparently can't tell one elf from another. So he casts the rope to frodo, and as he does, we see that the darkness seems to lift from frodo. This is amazing. It's actually dispelling this blindness effect. And the returning sight helps phrodo in so many ways, right? It helps him feel more stable. It helps him feeling less giddy, which is always a good thing.
