The Groundhog Day condition creates what's called the conditioned self. And this is the self that's just created by all these conditions that we find ourselves in, like we're controlled from the outside. For me, my dominant condition self has been the need for approval. Others could be a need for security or dependency or control, perfectionism. But I believe everyone listening to this podcast will know that there's some part of them going back to their childhood that could be limiting their potential for happiness.
