The Wagner Insurrection: A Stress Test for Russia

The 80% of the Wagner soldiers who remained in their barracks and refused to follow Pragosian into the insurrection will now be signed into the Russian military. The 4,000 who followed Pragosian and joined the insurrection will be drummed out of the military, but pardoned. This was a stress test for Russia. It wasn't intentional. And what's important is it had no impact on the battlefield. There were no breakthroughs by the Ukrainian. If anything from this embarrassment, I think Putin will emerge even stronger than before.
