The Simple Jumping Software of Bob Thomas
Bob thomas developed the first distributed file system that allowed programms on one computer to modify files on another. His team created the first email system that could send pictures and audio files as attachments. Thomas tinkered with his simple jumping software, adding a single line of text that would be displayed on the consul every time it jumped computers. It was this line that gave the software its name, the creeper. Ray tomlinson wrote his own saftre that could also move between computers in the network. And once it came across thomas's creeper, it erased it.
