In his freshman year, floyd miller would miss more labs and dunks than any player you can ever possibly imagine. Coach: How do he teach this young man to realize that he could be a great player if he just made his layups and dunks he was missing so often? So we created what we call the floyd Miller rule. And because we did not want to single out floyd, we called it the floyd mill a rule. But it applied to everybody. It's been that way throughout these last 30 years of my coaching career. By the way, floyd became the leading field o per centage shooter in bowling green history when he graduated.
