Is Your IT Department Able to Provide This for You?
I think if you're in any organization, your IT department should be able to basically do this for you. If they can't or they say they can't, that would raise some big questions for me. My only fear is that whatever IT provides for you is so highly technical that it's hard for you to really understand what you're looking at. They tend to go very technical. Maybe not ask them to do it alone and provide it to you, but maybe find a way to make sure that the output you get from IT is user friendly.
