The Relationship Between the World Soul and Nature
Plotinus says the world soul is engaged in the sensible world. He invokes nature as a principle, but also reserves an upper part that remains in the intelligible world. In Platonus, the theory of forms takes a decidedly biological turn. And it's almost like all humans who ever exist are kind of unfolding of possible content of the form of man.
