The actor grew up with an untreated hearing loss, which deprived him of a major sensory connection to the people around him. He decided to drop out of school and pursue stand up comedy. But doing comedy made him feel better for a moment, but it never forced him to address any of the reasons he actually felt like shit. O while he hurt people, he was hurting no one more than himself. And through that, he started to realize how much pain he had caused other people.
