The Dangers of E-Bikes This Summer

The global e-bike market reached around $26.5 billion in 2021 and it's projected to keep growing to just under $62.3 billion by 2030, according to Statista. The draw of e-bikes? Well, you don't have to pedal as hard and they'll get you where you need to go faster reaching around 28 miles per hour for the fastest class of pedal-assisted bikes. But it's that speed that, of course, can make them dangerous. A new bill before the California State Legislature would prohibit kids under 12 from riding e- bikes on busy roads.
