The Importance of Spiritual Transparency in Eldership

There is not a culture in our eldership of acting only by unanimity. Not everybody wants to be in a church like that, but we're trying to create a community where people are being honest and transparent with one another as the way it worked within our church. That allows people when they're in really bad spots to first share it with a friend because they built that trust. And then that friend is able to come alongside of them and say, let's not do this by ourselves.
