I'd Like to See More Independent MPs in Parliament
I think independent MPs are useful where they represent an idea or a particular campaign, and they're elected on the back of that. But I don't think a large number of new independents would really be helpful in creating that. There's never going to be loads of them but that as smattering. Perhaps what I'd like to see even more of would be more MPs representing smaller parties. So we think of like Caroline Lucas was almost an independent MP because she's standing for the only Green MP for a long time. And I'dlike to see more individuals like that representing new forces in Parliament.
