The Effects of Globalisation on the Environment
The effects of globalisation and the way we live are very tangible when it comes to climate change in a way that they're not when you think about economic globalisation. This is what I think ordinary people are grappling with. They're starting to get interested in Bolsonaro and Brazil and the Amazon. And they're interested in Chinese climate policy on air pollution and so on because it actually affects them in ways they can understand. So yeah, there's this sort of understanding of what globalisation really means which has made people start to latch on to global politics.
