She was the first woman who was a Hashemite from the actual family of the Prophet's like Salaam. She accepted Islam very early on, made the migration to Abyssinia and lived through the boycott. Also another mother like figure to the Prophet'slike Salaam - Umm Ayman or Fatima Bint Asad.
