The Short Cut in Science

I think for most people, it is being used as a short cut. Wete seeng this being used very powerfully in science the moment with the citizens science projects. And things like wicopedia are taking advantage of the fact that we got multiple people building this extraordinary space. In order to find a new parth, the secret passage, sometimes you have to break the rules. The one i rather like is when we came up with a new number, the square root of minus one, an imaginary number. At first sight, you say there isn't a number which, when you square it equals minus one. But we broke the rule and said, why don't we try?
