I've Never Used a Gold Zero Battery Pack

I've actually never used a gold zero. So i haven't used any. The only one that i've had success with is that survival frogs. It folds all the way out, has clips on it you can put on your back pack. They just don't hold a charge very long. And their solar panels are trash. You'd have to set it in the sun for 50 years to charge the battery.
