Is There a Need for a Degree in Communication?
i will be a full throated supporter of communications as an academic discipline if graduates are for to read beowulf in anglo saxon. In some ways, i can imagine that some of it is the loss of the kind of greek and latin requirements that would have been happening in the high schools in the u k. There's only so many people who can actually do metaphysics aall. I mean, really. And so they just needed some degree that they could give,. you know, rich kids, kids from powerful families who wanted too get their degrees.
