The Origin of Vodka in America
The original Smirnoff was a vodka distiller in Russia and he got ran out during the revolution. He had actually gone, I think it was to the Philadelphia Expo, which might, it was in the late 1800s. And he brought some of his vodka wares and it won some sort of medals. But you know, that was more of a curiosity. So when people wondered like where did vodka in America first come from, it was Connecticut.
