Adolescence - Are Teens More Likely to Seek Rewards?
Teens are more likely to seek rewards or show behaviors that would generate these rewards in them. Teens may also be more susceptible to their peers because of the kind of reward of being accepted by your peers if you go along with what they're doing. This heightened reward activation is thought to underlie just a lot of the behaviors that we're seeing in adolescence. Also something very good and positive behaviors too, such as helping people.
