St. Louis of Rhea and the Cross
St. Louis of Rhea gave up an orange, which was nothing he could have taken it for himself. An example of his struggle to mortify himself in order to say yes to others out of love forgotten and yes ultimately to our lord himself. That orange says in eyewitness is still kept by that family forty years later. We know that if we try to carry the cross with prime, we will end up falling like Heraclius entering Jerusalem. But what's important here is our attitude to the cross. Are we going to embrace it with humility or are we going to reject it with prime?
