Freddy Bob and the Trapper

The shopkeeper watched the thing wander into a store. The young man looked at the clothes on display, dirt lined and ragged. He probably didn't even have two pennies to rub together. Freddy Bob just said this was a good wish. Good enough, the man said. And with the snap of his finger, he left. "I'm… I'm Freddy? I worked for you. You gave me three pennies for three years of work?" A musket came out, held proudly in the young man's grasp. It made the sheriff jealous.
