The Science of Vampires

The sun itself is actually glowing. Its actually emitting light. But the earth and the moon and all the planets, like when you look at jupiter, that is reflected ligt from the sun. What happens when a photon hits a surface? It can either get absorbed and then later re emitted, but that you would really call emission, or can actually get reflected. And quanta mechanically to understand what happens during reflection is a whole other rabbit hole,. which we're planning to do in a few weeks actually.
