Most CEOs just buy back their stock and what's created from that for example when Trump dumped a ton of money into corporate coffers by cutting their taxes in 2017 or 16 CEOs instead of hiring employees. That created a political wave led by Elizabeth Warren to put regulations and laws around how you can spend the money, says John Avlon. Washington DC has decided at least those democratic politicians have decided that buying back stock is a bad idea he adds.
