I like the way that you put it. You talk about forgiveness as the only way for all of us, as flawed moral agents, to move forward and not be forever fixed or defined by our worst choices. Although i also think that we can sometimes move forward in other ways. I think there are forms of reconciliation and acceptance that fall short of forgiveness, but can also play im ras.
