The reality just isn't gong to change. You can't change it by how you talk about it or whatever law you pass. The most compassionate thing, if somebody's house is on fire, but vehemently denies it, is not to agree with them. And as we live out our faith in this cultural moment, we need to be equipped to have clarity and confidence ancr e to engage our culture - even to create one.
