Sally Kohn: When we heal, we don't change the events that happened. Like past is past. And it changes how we feel. So therefore we don't have to go into the past and right our wrongs or fix that event. We see it from a higher perspective. In conscious relationships, there's nothing you never get upset. Your emotion is valid. But once that emotion has passed, how can we get curious about the stories and the beliefs that caused it, right? It's an African proverb that's been translated so I always say, "Go tap your bird's eye"
