Rebecca Mackay was a Pulitzer finalist for her novel The Great Believers. Her new book is set at an isolated New Hampshire boarding school where one of her classmates was murdered back then. She spurs someone even though she knows she shouldn't to investigate that 1995 murder and do a podcast about it. It's such an interesting self aware exploration of true crime and education.
