The Evolution of Game Jams
The longest running game jam is something called the ludum dare which is Latin for to give a game. It started in 2002 and notably it was the first entirely online game jam. Sometimes they're based on specific technologies or like specific other constraints like that But that's usually a big part of it. And so then they say come design something weird and new and a fun creative and collaborative atmosphere Who knows where people will come up with?
