How to Leverage Type Hinting and Static Analysis to Make Python Faster and More Efficient

Instagram's server code base is basically 100% typed, everything has type annotations. We're looking at how to further leverage type hints and static analysis to make Python both faster and more efficient for developers. It will be challenging to do a good job of typing all of Django, especially given the backwards compatibility constraints. So I think it would be great if someday, yeah.
