Wild Card Slots

Has this depressed the market? Or has it actually enhanced the market? or neither? Or is it too soon to say? I don't know how exactly things will shake out after august. Having it later in the calendar mathematically, i guess the season started later too. So it dos'e feel like the whole calendarhas teen shifted slightly. Maybe more teams will do what i would consider the dodger's strategy of taking your arty good team and trying to improve it. But i don't think its can be meaningfully different than before. More wild card slots create front offices that don't want hard decisions. They want decisions made for them by the standings.
