Climate Change and Tree Mortality

Trees are intrinsically long lived organisms that live for decades, hundreds of years. 50 years is a lot, if not almost, the most data that we have back in im for tropical forest. And what we found is that tree mortality markedly increased in past decades. The increase followed, closely followed, the increase in temperature and atmospheric water stress caused by climate change.
