Insulin Resistance in Cancer
The underlying condition insulin resistance exists for years or decades before diabetes arises. The reason that's the case is that when you have extra glucose in your blood, your pancreas response by putting out more insulin to keep it at bay. It takes decades for doctors to discover that we're insulin resistant because the blood glucose looks normal most for the insulin. So if you look at you know insulin resistance in cancer associates quite strongly but it's not necessarily full blown diabetes that's being diagnosed.
