The Chain Saw and the Bug Chaina

The first mass produced chain saw was made by joe cox in the 19 forties. The chains were modelled on the blades of traditional cross cut saws. This led to a lot of wasted time having to re sharpen dull chains. i loved when i came across this story, because who would have thought it? Even the history of the chain saw has important episodes of biomemetic engineering in it.
