Is There Such a Lack of Urgency in Reducing Pollution?
India is doing very little to cut back on producing power by coal. The government is actually pushing the state owned coal company to produce forty % more coal, and has no immediate plans to cutback on the number of coal power plants. Why is there such a lack of urgency in reducing pollution? Well, it comes from both sides, both from the public and from politicians. And at the same time, indians bureaucracy itself is completely siloed into different parts.
