I don't know if it's not a foreshadowing of a broader shift in the nation's sensibility around these racial issues. The same six people would knock that down in a second. I think reparations is going to have to be at a thousand points of light because, yeah, a decision like they would never work. No, the Supremes as currently configured would be quite unsynthetic to that.
