The Crisis of Skepticism in Al-Rzali

The argument that led Al-Rzali to his impasse is reminiscent of a report about the pre-Socratic atomist, Democritus. In much the same way, it was by seeking refuge in God that Al- Rzali was able to overcome his crisis of skepticism. Formerly, not unlike an ancient skeptic, he had been relentlessly seeking after certain knowledge.
