There's very little that you and i can do about harsh repression in china or about putense corruption and repression in russia. Our own society is in a state of serious collapse. The crises that we face are borderless, nuclear war, globe warming, pandemics, have to be dealt with at an international level. Well, thereare two major powers, one huge power, that's the united states, one lesser, but rising power, that’s China. The two have to co operate, or else we are simply doomed. Can we move towards co operation, or must we move towards provocation, like the nuclear submarine deal? I think we should move against provocation
